Train Photos IV - Gala Yuzawa on Joetsu Shinkansen

We took the Shinkansen Tanigawa from Tokyo to Gala Yuzawa which is approximately a one and half hours trip.

Quite a packed train as we went to Gala Yuzawa on a Saturday but no rowdy crowd here!

That third photo I took was not intended to be a backside shot of the train attendant (or whatever you call the staff pushing the food cart) but rather the nifty scanner she had for scanning food items' barcode. Cool!

Trip back was on the double decker Shinkansen Max Tanigawa. As it was still early at 4.20pm, the train was not full (see the empty rows in the photos).

Note:
The Tanigawa and Max-Tanigawa trains only travel between Tokyo Station and the ski resort of Gala-Yuzawa at Echigo-Yuzawa.

See our fun in the snow photos too!
