Got Your New iPhone 3G yet?

I'd sure like to have one of phones for my own!

HE talks about the madness of people queuing for the iPhone for two days even though it's only on market (in Japan) today. Even Umie mentioned it in her blog.

Softbank Mobile is presently the only one to offer iPhone in Japan and an eight-gigabyte phone is priced at 23,040yen (that's about RM700.00).

Dave of Is a Mans World is disappointed of the iPhone pricing in New Zealand, though.

  1. No, I haven't got one yet (and am not planning to - a normal Japanese mobile will suit my needs for the forseeable future) - but I did go past the line of remarkably dedicated people braving the heat and queueing for an iPhone in Tokyo on Friday.

  2. I would like to get one, but I wonder if it's worth it for the contract. I already have a cell phone anyway, and I don't know many people to talk to.. I could just get a iPod touch, but it doesn't have enough HDD space for my music collection..

  3. @Penguin,
    I saw your photos. Wow - there are some dedicated iPhone customers there!

    @Sanjo-chan,
    how long & expensive is the contract?

  4. @ Lina: The contract lasts two years, and it's costs $30 USD a month with AT&T. Not a bad deal, but stuff like that can be hard to keep up with, imo.

  5. @sanjo-chan,
    thanks for the reply.
    Hmm... I never liked anything that tie me up for long esp when providers can come up with better deals in future.
