Our Anniversary Dinner

Our wedding anniversary was on Sep 4, yesterday. I initially thought there will be no special dinner planned, but Zaini wanted to go out for something special.

My suggestion was to Tony Roma's but as Zaini wanted to eat rice, we decided to chose Japanese food instead.

C K mentioned in his comment here that he expects the restaurant to treat him like a king or at least a VIP when he bring over a big crowd.
Sure indeed, when we went to the same restaurant, we were now greeted by the staff and manager by first name, was reserved a very nice table and got for each of us a special, complimentary desert at the end of our dinner. The staff and manager even wished us Happy Anniversary. Now, isn't that special? :-) (And getting discounts on all our food were pretty special for me too!)

Zaini's Yuzu Gozen set with melt-in-your-mouth beef sirloin

My Gyu & Seafood set

Our special desert, tiramisu, sesame ice cream with azuki bean, strawberries and mango. Yummy!

  1. The food looks good! Which Japanese restaurant is this?

  2. @foongpc,
the one that I took 40pax out - Yuzu

  3. Thanks for the link!

Glad to know that you're on a 'first name basis' with the staff. The next thing you should demand will be a 10% VIP card.

That restaurant must be really great for you to return repeatedly. For us, Mugen, which is near London Bridge is where we bring our visitors to London.

Let me know if you drop by London the next time round, we'll have lunch over there, yah?

  4. What a lovely anniversary feast! Yumm...:)

  5. Hepi anniversary...
Nampaknya balik Malaysia ni nak kena try Yuzu restaurant la...

  6. I always love seeing your dinner choices! Food always looks so good. Thanks for checking in on me during the storm!

  7. I loved Tony Roma's!!! I miss Japan!! Omedeto Gozaimasu!
