Tea - Bottled or Brewed or Ordered From Your Favourite Mamak Place?

Zaini and I love our tea, but we have different taste in how to enjoy our tea. Zaini likes his cold and more often than not, he drank bottled or canned tea bought from supermarkets.

I for one, have never liked the bottled variety even though they are so convenient. I like to take my time, brewing and pouring my tea. Nowadays, I use the loose leaf variety instead of the teabags ones.

We even have different taste when enjoying a cup of tea at the Mamak stall! I like my teh tarik (pulled tea?) but Zaini prefers his Teh Ais (iced tea with milk).

  1. Oh, what a coincidence, my preferences are exactly the same as yours! I also make my own green tea from green tea leaves and yeah, I like teh tarik too! Tak suka teh ais lah. xD

  3. I'm with you, I like my tea brewed. The tea in a bottle doesn't taste the same to me.

  5. @Jim,
    We have same taste. Cool! :)

    @Martin,
    That's even cooler! How do you distinguish a female/male linden tree. Coincidentally, what is a linden tree? :D

    @sixmats,
    They don't. With brewed tea, we get to control how our tea taste like.

    @Mei Teng,
    same here. :)

  12. Lina, sorry for this unrelated comment. But I have been getting a long queue of paid ads on entrecard. Why this sudden change? Did you get this as well? Did you approve those paid ads?

  13. @Mei Teng,
    Yes, I approved some for this blog, rejected all for my today.com blog. It's becoming a headache to approve/reject all those paid ads.
    I think it's important to change your advert setting to allow only ads that is explicitly approved by you to run otherwise you might see ads that you never approve run there. @_@ A bit troublesome...

  15. I like hot tea too, but cold tea is preferable on a hot day! But normally like hot tea after a meal of fried food. Cold tea will make my stomach uncomfortable after a meal like that.

    Same question as Mei Teng re EC. So many ads lining up! Should I approve them or not?

  16. @foong,
    As for EC, I guess it's pretty much up to you. But I think you should re-check your advert setting if you don't want paid ads that you have not approve popping up on your blog!

  17. i love drinking green tea or lemon grass tea because of the health benefits but I cut off starting this week. I read in women's health that caffeine intake has something to do with conception. That's why... Trying to conceive makes me so paranoid about things I read.

  18. @Ayie,
    You are trying to conceive? Good luck! :)
