Katy Perry's Odd Nickname In Japan

After getting over her initial shock, Katy Perry decided to take the odd nickname as a compliment. She said: “I didn't know that about myself, but I’m very flattered, thank you.”

  1. There was an article in yesterday's STAR papers where parents cannot simply name their children any way they want in Germany. Reason being to spare the kids from embarrassement in case they were so named by their parents. Didn't know it's so strict in Germany...haha.

  2. So Katy is apparently known as the Small Devil Rock Princess. Yikes - is that a compliment?

  6. That nickname, if it is now, is a mouthful. 6 syllables in English can easily translate to over 10 syllables in Japanese. XD
