Almost There! The Yen Is Sure Expensive!

OK, we just figure we might as well change some now looking at the trend of Yen rates going up, up and up against the Ringgit. From just RM3.00+ for 100yen five years ago to RM4.00 - RM4.15 now...

I am so not going to shop much in Japan this year! Boohooo!

No, not going to charge anything not budgeted to our credit cards. I don't want to be adding more debt just for going on this vacation!

  1. Always such bad news when currency changes its value in the wrong direction. But I hope you spot some good bargains in Japan so you can come home with some nice souvenirs! :)

  2. @Jenny,
I hope so too. I need to stretch the Yen as far as I can this time.

  3. If I have a chance now, I should travel other countries because of the strong of yen.

Hope that yen will become weak for other country's people.

  4. @cocomino,
definitely! With strong Yen, Japanese or those earning in Yen would gain when being abroad. The cost won't be so high up.

  6. @Alice,
RM is getting lower and lower against all other currencies. It's bad for us earning RM. :(

  8. @ristinw,
That is sooooo true! I like your attitude. :)

Let's hope Yen come down to a more comfortable level for all of us outside Japan. Then, we all can visit Japan without feeling the pinch. ^^

  12. The news would say that Yen is historical high level or strong. All of Japanese people could not expect this price.
BTW, when I would walking in early morning. People would greet each other when we come across someone at around 5 AM. After 6 AM,they would ignore each other. Because of many people would come across.
