Cover Story - Nara

Nara - I'd think of the Todai-ji and the wild deers that roam the area.

And what do we find on Nara's manhole covers?
Can you spot the deer?

  4. Hi! Nice manhole photos. I can see a deer in each manhole. It is written by Japanese, the first one is for rainwater, the second one is dirty water.

    5. When I see Sky Tree, I think of Ru.

BTW, did you see the special colours on Sky Tree? The rings had a double/triple light strobe running circles, the coloured circles were red, and the central area was changing colours all the time like a rainbow. Was pretty cool. I wonder what it was about.

    6. What nice ways to think about me.

One majestically dominates the city skyline.

And another, humble covers stepped on everyday but important nonetheles. ^^

SO.... what's the occasion the Sky Tree and all th special colours?

    7. Had some time to check out why it was so special. Apparently it is exactly 1 year before they announce the 2020 Olympic host city. They had red, yellow, blue, purple, and green. Purple replaces black, I guess. Was pretty cool to watch but I got home too late to actually take a photo/video of it. :(

Japanese blog for info. Maybe Ru can read it better than the poor translation I got from Google. The translation was good enough though.
