Pre Departure

A you-tube video that made quite a number of friends who used to study in Japan going "natsukashi". It has the same effect to me too, and I never lived in Japan!

It's a clip welcoming new students to life as students in Japan.

  4. A nice video and very "natsukashi" for anyone who has visited or lived in Japan.

  5. I had to look up the word "natsukashi" I was puzzled by the video. Maybe I need to go to Japan to understand it! In particular I couldn't see the connection with Islam. But it's interesting to see a different view of the world, and I agree that the video sums up a feeling of being in a strange place that is part of going away to study. Usually it gets so much better when you make some friends :).
